Here are three practise progressions whilst hitting a ball against the wall. Perhaps set yourself the target of 10 consecutive shots before moving onto the next stage.
The ball can bounce as many times as you like.
Stage 2 – 1 bounce between the lines
Only allow the ball to bounce once and try and keep your shot between the white lines.
Stage 3 – Hitting harder
Place a white line on the floor. Continue to hit the ball after only one bounce, but swing the racket faster to make the ball rebound past the line.
Luckily our neighbours are top draw and always throw wayward balls back!!
