NORFOLK TENNIS DUNLOP BALL DEAL 2021

NORFOLK TENNIS DUNLOP BALL DEAL 2021

Tennis is back soon, so now is a great time to get your order in!

The 2021 County deal price for Dunlop Australian Open will be £65.34 per box inclusive of VAT. One box contains 18 tubes/72 tennis balls. The price listed has been subsidised by the Norfolk LTA to the tune of £7.02 per box.  Any club, coach, or coaching organisation in Norfolk can access this price.

Orders have to be placed through Top Spin Tennis, the racket sports specialist with shops at East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club and Easton Tennis Centre. Due to tennis returning prior to non-essential retail being open, Top Spin Tennis have arranged a collection morning from the Lime Tree Road club car park on Saturday 20th March between 10am – 1pm for clubs wishing to collect orders in preparation for the 29th March. Ordinarily, orders would be collected anytime during shop opening hours. For clubs or coaches not able to make it on the 20th, Top Spin Tennis can arrange delivery which will cost £6.46 for the first box followed by £4.19 for each subsequent. Alternatively, collection can be made when Top Spin Tennis intend to re-open from the 12th April.

Clubs are encouraged to place orders they foresee needing throughout the whole year to allow Top Spin Tennis to forecast ahead, and clubs the peace of mind their ball ordering has been sorted for the year. Please fill out one form per delivery/collection required. You will be contacted nearer the time to confirm the order and forward payment.

Orders should be emailed through to Ryan at Top Spin Tennis attaching the additional form using the email ryan@topspintennis.co.uk. Top Spin Tennis have suggested BACS as the recommended form of payment prior to collection/delivery, however cheque is also accepted. For any questions please contact Ryan who will be happy to assist.

We look forward to seeing you back on court!

HOME TENNIS TIPS – VERSION 1 – Mon 23rd March

Here are three practise progressions whilst hitting a ball against the wall. Perhaps set yourself the target of 10 consecutive shots before moving onto the next stage.

Stage 1 – Hit over the line

The ball can bounce as many times as you like.

Stage 2 – 1 bounce between the lines

Only allow the ball to bounce once and try and keep your shot between the white lines.

Stage 3 – Hitting harder

Place a white line on the floor. Continue to hit the ball after only one bounce, but swing the racket faster to make the ball rebound past the line.

Luckily our neighbours are top draw and always throw wayward balls back!!

Good luck and let us know how you get on or any other ideas of how to keep practising at home.
