There are many ways of getting started in tennis.

  • Many schools have start up sessions, usually delivered by local club coaches 
  • Keep an eye out for Tennis For Kids sessions offering free coaching courses.
  • Clubs and community venues offer sessions for adult beginners 

 

MINI TENNIS
Mini tennis clubs will run toddler tennis sessions for age 3&4. These sessions are designed to provide players with the opportunity to develop co-ordination, playing fun ball based games. As children grow they will progress into mini tennis:- Mini Red – Age 5-6 Mini Orange – Age 7-8 Mini Green – Age 9-10 The difference between these levels is the compression of the ball and the size of the court. TENNIS FOR KIDS

TENNIS FOR ADULTS

If you have never played tennis before, or haven’t played in a while then Tennis Xpress is for you. During a 6 week course you will be taught new skills and be shown how to serve, rally, and score, so by the end, you will be able to enjoy fun matches with your friends, family or other people you meet.
